So much SOTU, so much winning, Iran, Ukraine, and some astrology from Elise
"Dany and I were in agreement this week on several fronts: SOTU was, by any measure, a circus. Military action against Iran looks less like "if" and more like "when" - you don't amass more firepower in the Mideast than at any point since 2003 without using it. And despite it's triumphalist rhetoric, Russia is not winning the war in Ukraine. What we're watching is a sophisticated psych-ops campaign designed to convince Washington otherwise and extract maximum leverage at the negotiating table.
I leave you with this gem from Dany and Marc's podcast w/ Fred Kagan: A garden snail moves at 0.03 miles per hour. At that rate to get from the border of Russia would take 375 days. So a garden snail would've made more progress than the Russian military. And as Dany points out, less slimy than Putin"
