Too often, where you stand on the political spectrum dictates where you sit on the Iran War (and everything else). Trying to judge on the merits is incredibly difficult because all of our inputs have become so hyper-partisan. Is the war a good thing? Is the problem the idea, or the execution? Does the War Powers Act matter? In each case, the answer can rest on actual facts, should we trouble to discern what those are. It’s worth the effort. Being at the tail of the political spectrum — the Piker/Carlson event horizon — is simply not worth the energy, the hate, the high blood pressure. We strive for the opposite. Join us.
