Hot Takes Happy Hour with Dany and Elise

Iran, Iran, more Iran, and the temptations of censorship
"Whether this war was inevitable at some point to address Iran's nuclear program, I'll grant. Whether this was the moment we absolutely had to act — that's debatable. And that's what, to me, makes the decision to go to war today, rather than another time, a choice. Danielle and I disagree on that point, and we're perfectly fine with that. That's what civil discourse — and real friendship — is all about. But there will be plenty of time to hash that out once the war is over. Right now, we're both laser-focused on the objectives and the endgame — because figuring those out isn't optional. We want your thoughts and questions – send them in the comments or DM us anytime. Whatever you think about how we got here, please keep our troops in your thoughts and pray they come home safely."

Thanks all, and your patience appreciated. This war is complicated, and we try to break down some of the issues, and game out the ending. Part of the problem for both of us (and indeed, all of us), is that the President of the United States appears to have a variety of scenarios in mind. Are we out? Staying the course? Regime change? Are oil prices the deciding factor? What about the nukes? Good questions all. Check out our conversation, and the much promised 🎶 shownotes below.
