#WTH: Iran and proxies vow revenge

Just a quick round up for you of the retribution threats from Iranian proxies against Israel… And no, these aren’t just from the last year. We’ll have a podcast coming with former Centcom Commander Gen. Frank McKenzie. He says Iran is weak. He says Hezbollah is not committed to helping Hamas. He says Hamas is militarily defeated (though not politically). But the Biden administration takes the kind of headlines I collected below *very* seriously. Forget the facts, buy the rhetoric. Perhaps next time, I’ll collect the, “Biden administration fears escalation” headlines.

Protip: Headlines and vows to “retaliate,” get “revenge,” “make them pay,” and other bombastic threats are not policy. If only the White House understood. If only the media understood. What matters are capabilities. That is why the capabilities of Iran and its proxies must be degraded and destroyed.
